R Shivakumar Research and Innovation Foundation is a premier startup incubator established at SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram, Chennai. As a Section 8 non-profit organization, the Foundation is committed to nurturing innovation, supporting entrepreneurship and transforming ideas into scalable ventures.

With a strong academic ecosystem of 18,000+ students and 1,200+ faculty members, we foster a culture of innovation across disciplines including engineering, life sciences, management, architecture and healthcare.

TechNova Solutions

TechNova Solutions recognized a critical bottleneck: inefficient supply chain data tracking in small retail stores. To tackle this, they developed an AI-driven inventory management dashboard that predicts stockouts before they happen. Within just 6 months, they successfully onboarded over 50 local retailers to their platform. Their innovative approach recently secured them a ₹10 Lakhs seed grant from government initiatives to expand their operations.

EcoCharge Dynamics

Identifying the severe lack of affordable, portable EV charging stations in urban areas, EcoCharge Dynamics engineered modular, IoT-enabled power banks specifically for 2-wheeler EVs. They have already deployed 20 pilot prototypes across the city with incredible user feedback. The team's dedication to sustainability led them to become the Winner at the National Innovation Hackathon 2024.

MediLink Services

Delayed access to emergency patient records during transit can cost lives, a problem MediLink Services is determined to solve. They built a cloud-based encrypted health record retrieval system optimized for ambulances. Having partnered with 3 major hospitals for early pilot runs, their crucial work earned them entry into our incubation program backed by a ₹5 Lakhs initial prototype funding.
